We love animals at the Sky Harbor Bavarian Inn! Well behaved and trained dogs and cats are welcome. We have to say "no" to birds. Sorry. Any other animals may be allowed depending on size and behavior. We have to know ahead of time that you are bringing your pet as we do not allow animals in all of our rooms.

Below are most of the rules that you and your pet must follow in order to keep your pet safe and the rest of our guests comfortable:
  1. A dog MUST be on a leash at all times on our property.
  2. Do not walk your pet in our yard or in front of the motel. Please walk your dogs down the road or down the Greenway.
  3. Please do not use our bedspreads as a bed for your pet or our ice buckets as a water bowl.

    Dogs are NOT to be left alone in the rooms!
    Please remember this is a motel and not a kennel.

  4. Dogs are NOT to be left alone in the rooms. We regret any inconvenience this may cause but we have had too many problems lately with barking dogs. It's very disturbing to the rest of the guests. Dogs are allowed in Rock City and Ruby Falls has a temporary kennel. The Ark accepts pets for day boarding but you must contact them to find out their requirements and availability. Their number is 423-634-0466 thearkspa.com. If they can't accomodate you an alternate kennel is Animal World 423-629-0129 or 423-894-8495.
  5. Other pets may be left alone in the rooms as long as they are in pet carriers and you do not leave them for extended periods of time. Owners must have a cell phone and leave the number with the front desk so we can call you if there is a problem. For the safety of your pet and our staff, the housekeeper will not enter the rooms with pets so please place used towels outside your door for pick up and we will leave you fresh towels.
Often dogs that do not bark or tear up anything at home have very different behavior in a strange place with strange noises. If your dog barks excessively you may be asked to leave without a refund. If there is any damage to bedding or furniture or the room you will be held responsible.

Please come prepared to follow all the rules so that you and your pet will be welcome guests at the Sky Harbor and so the "R&R" of the other guests won't be disturbed!

There are fewer and fewer places that allow pets and we want to continue to be one of them.
