Sky Harbor Bavarian Inn offers amazing views of Chattanooga. Convenient to downtown Chattanooga. sundaypaper.com This was the greatest place we stayed on our entire trip, through Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama. Next time I promise to bring some Arkansas watermelons with us to share! We will be back! Greatest view in the city. This will be my new hotel of choice in Chattanooga. Private balcony available. Only drawbacks is lack of internet and you have to drive off the mountain to get food (but it is not far). Breakfast is nothing more than powdered donuts, but there are places to eat locally. Sky Harbor is a throwback to the side of the road mom and pop motels and it is a welcome respite from the overpriced frou frou bed and breakfasts. I am a travel writer and photographer and I highly suggest you visit. Megan Locke We were blown away by the scenery. The room had a fantastic view overlooking the river and we could sit on the balcony in the rocking chairs for hours. The rooms are cozy, the staff is friendly and the view is amazing! We would recommend this place to anyone staying close to Chattanooga. "We found this wonderful place by chance. We had been staying at another hotel and were going to visit Lookout Mountain, but when we saw the Inn we decided to leave our hotel and stay the last nights here. We absolutely made the right choice and wish we had found you earlier! The room we stayed in was the Queen with the jacuzzi. The best parts were looking out at night and seeing the downtown city lights and sitting in the rocking chairs from our balcony in the mornings and evenings. We love this place and will return again! Back on Broad Street, I drove to Lookout Mountain At night, the ndge of swanky residences lining the mountaintop glowed like a string of white twinkling Chnstmas lights. The Sky Harbor Bavanan Inn boasted of "panoramic view balconies" and had one vacancy. "It's the honeymoon suite," said owner Patsy Evans I grabbed it.
